TLC: While fondly called TLC, this is literally The Lectionary Class as the
format of the class is to discuss the scheduled Sunday texts taken from a three year cycle
of bible readings called the Revised Common Lectionary. The same texts are usually the
texts on which the Sunday worship services are based. Adult study deepens the experience
of faith. Seasons of the Spirit curriculum supports lifelong
learning and faith formation. It encourages adult groups to extend
their exploration of the scriptures and connect faith to life beyond
the church – at home, in the community, and the world.
Raising Faith-Filled Kids (or trying to anyway...): Join our
newest adult Sunday School class where we meet to talk about
practical approaches to helping our kids develop a closer walk with
God. We meet in the small fellowship hall from about 9:35 a.m.-10:20
a.m.
Presbyterian Women Study Group: From September through July the 2nd
Tuesday of the month from 10:30 to noon is devoted to women meeting, studying and
eating together. Members of PW commit themselves to many things, not
the least of which is "to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible
study."
